David Marshall is taking retirement this year — and FBC is seeking a new CEO

Thanks to David

After nearly three decades of exceptional service and dedication in leading the Fraser Basin Council, our founding CEO, David Marshall, will be taking his retirement in 2025.

The Board and staff can never thank David enough for his pivotal leadership throughout the history of the organization and for the track record of successful collaborative initiatives he achieved with the FBC team and our diverse program partners throughout British Columbia.

The date of his departure will be confirmed once his successor is chosen.

Seeking our next Chief Executive Officer

The page turns, and a new chapter begins.

The Fraser Basin Council is now seeking to bring a new senior leader into the organization to guide our future success. Reporting to the FBC Board, the Chief Executive Officer plays an executive leadership role in developing and implementing the goals of the organization as reflected in FBC’s Five-Year Strategic Plan, working to fulfil FBC’s vision, and delivering on the organization’s mandate to advance sustainability solutions and practices in British Columbia.

Working collaboratively with the FBC Board of Directors, the CEO ensures FBC’s operations, strategies, planning, policy development, finances, fund development, communications, human resources and infrastructure are effectively implemented across all segments of the organization.
